To comfort you in your hour of need.

We think it is very necessary to encourage dear family, friends and those who have suffered the death of a loved one. It is a difficult and frightening time. God wants you to know that He is there for you in your hour of need. He walks with you, knows your loss and wants to bring you comfort. Allow Him to draw near.

THERE IS HOPE

For wives who have lost their
 husbands,

For husbands who have lost their
 wives,

For families who have lost their
 parents,

For parents who have lost their
 children,

 For those who have lost
grandparents, grandchildren, sisters,
brothers, aunts, uncles and friends.

Death touches all of us
but
there is hope.

HE WILL

He will wipe away your tears.
He will comfort you.

He will heal your hurting heart.
He will comfort you.

 You feel abandoned and lost.
He will comfort you.

 You feel empty and incomplete.
He will comfort you.

Hold on!

 May these words bless and
uplift you in your hour of need.

REVELATION 7:17

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

A RED ROSE

A red rose is a symbol of love
Sent to us as a present from our Father above
Given in our time of despair,
He wants us to know He is always there.

 He knows we are hurting,
He knows of the pain.
Will we ever be happy again?
The red rose is given to say that He knows
We will experience the ‘highs and the lows.’
He will stand by us come what may
And in God’s love we will stay.

A red rose can have a very sharp thorn
And our heart can feel as though it’s torn
But the beauty of the rose doesn’t fade away
Whatever happens love is here to stay.

 Comfort, encouragement will come
Through Jesus Christ God’s own Son.
Allow your faith to increase
And your doubts will decrease.
You are safe wrapped in His arms.

TEARS AND PAIN

The tears I shed I don’t want others to see,
They think I’m strong but they don’t know me.
I’ve lost the one who gave me the will to go on.
They’ve gone, they’ve gone, they’ve gone.

We had our ups and our downs.
We laughed together like a couple of clowns.
We had our upsets, arguments and fights
But they were to me a guiding light.
They’ve gone, they’ve gone, they’ve gone.

How can I face the days ahead?
Each hour, each minute I shall dread
And yet I hold sweet memories deep inside
They’ll remain for ever and reside.
They can’t be taken or stolen from me
For in my heart I have the key.

When we argued making up was sweet,
We overcame problems that were so deep.
Life at times became very stressed
And yet our lives were truly blessed.

Thank you Lord that you brought us together.
You made our lives precious as treasure.
Strengthen me now as you’ve done in the past
For the love we had will always last.

SINCE YOU’VE GONE

Since you’ve gone
Time seems so long.
Your voice Your touch
It meant so much.

 Death has taken you away,
You were called, you could not stay.
I have lost a precious treasure
Our deep love was without measure.

 How can I cope?
I feel I’m on a slippery slope.
How can I survive?
Lord, my spirit will You revive?

The minutes and hours tick slowly by
The utter loneliness makes me cry.
I miss you I miss you my heart seems dead,
My body is heavy like a lump of lead.

To God I cry in my despair,
“I will leave myself in Your care.
I don’t know what each day will bring,
Will my heart ever again sing?”

Father God I need you this very hour
I have no strength BUT You have the power.
Loss, anger, hurt and pain
I’m all mixed up, can I keep sane?

You will help, comfort and keep
My life secure when awake or asleep.
I’ll throw myself into Your arms
And know that Your Spirit calms.

NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS

No words can express the pain that I feel,
I’ve been handed a very rough deal.
I’ve lost the one I loved so much
No more will I feel that loving touch.

More words of love I should have spoken
For this would have been a special token
Of the feelings held deep inside,
That’s where they stayed and still reside.

And yet inside myself I know
Our love for each other did grow.
In many ways I expressed my concern
My heart for them did yearn.
Precious, sweet, love.

 Though doubts and fears abound
Love and hope are around.
Strength grows
Panic slows
What a mixture of emotion!
God applies a healing lotion.

His compassion never fails
And with His grace we face
All that will come our way
If in His arms we will stay.
COME CLOSE TO HIM.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

You are not alone as you face the unknown,
Many will give encouragement and pray
And when you are lonely they will stay,
Listening, talking and supporting
GOD ALWAYS HAS A PLAN.

At the moment it is not easy to see
And you think “What’s going to happen to me?”
Hold on, hold on,
GOD ALWAYS HAS A PLAN.

 Your tears He will wipe,
His strength will be your might.
Your pain He will heal.
GOD ALWAYS HAS A PLAN.

 Though your grasp is weak
Strong hands will keep
You uplifted and safe each day.
You don’t eat or sleep
And others you can’t meet,
Don’t worry
GOD ALWAYS HAS A PLAN.

 Will you ever laugh again?
In your life will tears reign?
Allow yourself time to heal the pain.
You will smile and laugh again.
GOD ALWAYS HAS A PLAN.

HE’S THERE FOR YOU

Allow Jesus to be your closest friend
All our heartaches He will tend.
Empty days He will fill
Making our heart peaceful and still.

Jesus is there every moment of the day.
He will listen as we pray.
Sometimes we tell Him we can’t go on
But He will give us a new song.

 He’ll heal the hurts within
In His strength we’ll win.
His love blossoms as a tree in spring
And in our hearts we’ll begin to sing.

HE’S THERE FOR YOU

Allow Jesus to be your closest friend
All our heartaches He will tend.
Empty days He will fill
Making our heart peaceful and still.

Jesus is there every moment of the day.
He will listen as we pray.

But He will give us a new song.

 He’ll heal the hurts within
In His strength we’ll win.

NO MORE

No more sharing, cuddles or being kissed
The talk and laughter will be missed.
How will you cope with a long empty day?
It maybe impossible for you to pray.

There are constant reminders at every turn
And, oh your heart for them yearns.
You think you walk alone no more holding hands
Death has stopped you making any more plans.

In your moments of deep despair,
Inside you know the Lord is there.
God will comfort and wipe away tears
And take away the anxiety and fears.

In many ways your lives were blessed
But without them will be the biggest test.
Sweet memories will not disappear
So dear one do not fear.

As you wake up don’t panic or get stressed
Your loving Saviour will be there to bless.
Allow Him to hold your hand
For He knows and understands.

Though endless and dark seem the days
You’ll come thro’ in supernatural ways.
You’ll be carried when you can’t go on
Thro’ Jesus Christ, God’s own Son.
Trust Him. Love Him

PROMOTED

Your loved one was always there
But now they have left to share
A new life in God’s loving arms
Completely free from all life’s harms.

 No more pain, no tears,
No hurt, no fears.
They’re safe in His care.

 Love never dies
And for them your heart cries.
They knew you loved them deep inside
And your precious memories will reside
Locked in a safe place in your heart,
Never to depart.

 No more pain, no tears,
No hurt, no fears,
They’re safe in His care.

They heard a voice loud and clear,
“It’s time my child you came here.”
They did not want to leave you all
But they’d received The Royal Call.

 No more pain, no tears,
No hurt, no fears,
They’re safe in the Father’s arms.

THE END IS THE BEGINNING

The end is the beginning
Our life is yet to come
Jesus Christ is God’s own Son.
He wants us to love Him
Coming close to His side,
And in His grace we shall abide.

He died a cruel death on a tree,
He died for our sins and to set us free.
The sin and the suffering are laid at the cross,
No longer need we feel such pain and loss.

 The end is the beginning
Our life is yet to come
Jesus Christ is God’s own Son.
He wants us to love Him
Coming close to His side
And in His grace we shall abide.

PSALM 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever

REVELATION 21:4

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

PSALM 46

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the ends of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

PSALM 121:1-3

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

THE FINAL DESTINATION

Why do I doubt?
Why do I fear?
Deep in my heart
I know You are near.
Close to me
By my side
In my heart You reside.

 Master of all
Compassionate friend
I have no fear
When I come to the end.
When this body wears out
My spirit will rise
And I will gain the ultimate prize.

My journey will come to an end
And You’ll be waiting,
Your angels You’ll send
To bring me to that Holy Place
To be with You in a state of grace.
